What I loved about breakaway at Winema was “Matt Man” Erdmann speaking. He was great. A lot of his discussions about Trust, Knowing someone, etc. Those things he talked about really made me think about how I should improve things in my life I need to work out with the lord.

I really liked Matt also, his message really hit home and I learned a lot. But I think that my favorite thing was just getting the chance to get away from everything and get the chance to fellowship with friends. It was really good to just have a weekend with friends!

I think it was great to get to know my cabin mates on a more personal level. Matt was also one heck of a speaker. My favorite activity was the Calling Simon concert, because I was talking to Justin of the band and he was a really cool guy. All around a pretty awesome weekend.

I think Breakaway is an amazing and life changeing experience. The leaders and especially matt are are truly aw-some! My favorite experience was being able to sit down with somone who really cares. Thats what ” the action” is all about. Be there!

well… i liked/loved breakaway because it’s not just about hanging out with the people you love, but it’s also a time to figure out more about them and why exactly you love them. So it was a great retreat, and i was really excited to sit down and talk with God, which is hard to do sometimes if your mind isn’t in the right place, but breakaway definately put my mind and heart in the right place. Anyone who hasn’t gone, should definately go next year, because it is SO worth it. GO BREAKAWAY GO!
