Love does not envy… Rudy talked about the ill will (wish for harm) that is associated with envy, which makes it a step worse than plain old jealously. the word used here for envy means: “to burn with zeal, to be heated or to boil with envy, hatred, anger.” Sounds pretty intense… more than just wanting something you don’t have. it sounds like it is bordering on obsession! the Church (the body of believers, not a physical building) in Corinth was stuggling with comparing people to each other… even comparing Paul to his fellow missionary Apollos! Paul is clear… do not compare. all are different, all are parts of one Body. love does not envy. do you have any advice on ways to keep from being envious - perhaps some of our Thailand Team has something to say?

Great sermon Sunday, looking forward to this Wednesday. It really is crazy how our selfishness effects us and those around us.
Everyone has an ego, that is healthy, but when the ego runs the way we think, feel, and live life, it becomes a problem.
Peace Out All!!!
