Hola amigos y hermanos,

Tuesday morning is here and the time is beginning to fly by. Yesterday was another day in which we saw God’s plan unfold before our eyes. The early part of the day saw the repair of worn old roofs, the painting of pastor Isaac’s house, and medical care in the clinic. This morning in our devotions we discussed how the battle belongs to the Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15-17). Dr. Jim and his assistants are preparing for another day of providing great medical care to those who need it. They have already provided care to several of the church members. Yesterday?s VBS was a great success. Many children came to listen to the gospel, sing and play games with us. We made belts of truth (Ephesians 6:14) and threw Frisbees with the kids. Then after dinner the whole team drove to Delta where we played a game of basketball with the locals and shared the gospel at half time. After some songs in Spanish and a short message, four boys received Christ as their Lord and Savior. Praise the Lord! The game ended with an Oregon victory (66-47) and everyone made it home safe and sound and had a good night sleep.

Tonight we look forward to a talent show/youth night where we will fellowship with our brothers and sisters through games, songs, and a theatrical performance. We look forward to seeing what God has in store for us for the rest of the evening.

Please continue to pray for VBS that the kids would have open minds and hearts and that we might plant seeds that would grow. Pray for the medical clinic that the Jim and the nurses would have strength and courage and that their work for the Lord would be not only physical but also spiritual. Please also pray for the patience, strength and encouragement of the leaders and the students who are beginning to experience the fatigue of warm weather and long days of service.

Thanks for all your prayers and support and we look forward to seeing
how God will use us in the coming days.

God Bless,

The Mexico Mission Team
