God called Dan to the jail and prison ministry in 1978. Jubilee is a non-denominational ministry dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with prisoners, their families, and corrections staff. The main focus of the ministry is an outreach to the Lane County Jail, the Community Corrections Center, and the Forest Work Camp. Volunteers minister annually to approximately 12,000 inmates.

Joel teaches ethics and systematic theology at the Evangelical School of Theology in Wroclaw, Poland.  Renata is pursuing a masters degree in Christian counseling to enhance her mentoring and counseling ministry.  Joel and Renata worship and serve at New Hope Fellowship.  They also co-lead a home group.

The Chancos work with Anian Theological Seminary, Far East Bible Institute and Seminary, and Philippine Missionary Institute in the Philippines.  The courses taught are in the field of New Testament Studies and Pastoral Theology.  Rene and Carla are involved in developing leadership for local churches with Carla helping women leaders and Rene overseeing men.
