Serving with Jubilee Ministries

God called Dan to the jail and prison ministry in 1978. Jubilee is a non-denominational ministry dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with prisoners, their families, and corrections staff. The main focus of the ministry is an outreach to the Lane County Jail, the Community Corrections Center, and the Forest Work Camp. Volunteers minister annually to approximately 9,000 inmates.

Carmen serves under Mission to the Americas with FOCUS, a group ministering to internationals, at Portland State University. At the end of 2006, she will be resigning from Multnomah Bible College and taking a faculty position with World Link Graduate Center a mission training school in Portland. Her role in FOCUS will not change.

Joel and Renata Burnell in Poland

Serving with World Venture

Joel and Renata are serving at the Biblical Theological Seminary (BTS) in Wroclaw, Poland where Joel teaches Systematic Theology and Renata teaches Principles of Communication. They also minister at New Hope Fellowship, a new church plant of the Polish Baptist Union, which is seeking to implement a cell group strategy to reach Wroclaw for Christ.

Serving with ISI

Kristi works with internationals and her husband, Larry, volunteers. ISI seeks to reach out to internationals with Christ’s love. Along with relationships with students, they have weekly events including a free lunch on Wednesdays, Thursday night dinners, fellowship and Bible study. ISI partners with local churches and ministries to reach out to over 1500 internationals on the Lane CC and U of O campuses.
