Thailand Team 2007
Thailand Team 2007 Monday, January 15th, 2007 by Elizabeth
The first half of the team departed on Friday, January 12, 2007. This included Gayle and Jim Buie, Elena and Mark Atkins, and Stacy Phelps. They will be working in Chiang Mai with Barefoot Doctors next week as the remainder of the team prepares to depart.
The rest of the team leaves on Saturday, January 20, 2007. This includes Sarah Bennion, Debbie Eickmeyer, Clarrisa and Elise Emmert, Rudy, Lucy and Jared Herr, Dave and Carrie Mertz, Heather Schunk and Onesimo Perez.
The whole team will meet up in Bangkok on January 22, 2007 and leave for Chiang Rai the next day. They are looking forward to meeting and working with the girls at the Home of Blessing. There will be many opportunities for the team, including teaching ESL, computer classes, art, and more.
